Wandering/stray dogs:
« on: October 12, 2007, 03:12:08 PM »

I realize we are way out in the country, but that is no reason for the gross disregard of other people's property.  I never took my dog to poo in anyones yard, and I wish the same from the general public.  It's okay outside my fence along the edge of the road, but when we are in a hurry and don't close the gates, I hate getting out of the car in my own yard and finding someone else's dog there or what they leave behind.
Most of us keep our pets confined to our own property, but for those of you who don't, thumbs down.
Don't they care enough for their pets to keep them safe from being hit by a vehicle or causing an accident trying to avoid hitting them.
I don't even attempt walking for fear of being knocked down or worse chased or bitten.
Yesterday morning we counted 7 dogs in a pack right outside the Laguna Park Post Office.  Un fair to the general public and the poor dogs.

I agree.  Dogs running loose are a MAJOR problem in the Laguna Park area.
