About 16 percent of registered voters in Bosque County cast ballots in Tuesday’s special election, with 1,090 opposed to the taxing district and 922 in favor of it.
Hospital officials said without a revenue boost, the hospital likely will have to scale back services. Closure is also a long-term possibility, they said.
Goodall-Witcher Healthcare Foundation CEO Clarence Fields Jr. said Wednesday that, for now, the county’s sole hospital will continue to serve the community.
The board of the foundation, which runs the hospital, meets next week. A discussion about the hospital’s future will begin then, he said.
“We’ll have to look at all our options,” he said.
One thing you guys could do is quit hiring outsiders to do stupid surveys and give the Board of directors a 80 percent pay cut.!!!!!!
